York has always had a dark past, and on the 28th June, it gets even darker. For one day only, the doors of the Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel will creak open, and Mad Alice will take you inside and recount the tales of this historically unique building.

Join Mad Alice for a spellbinding tour into the themed rooms of the Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel, is this one of York’s most haunted hotels? You’ll uncover ancient magic, forbidden rituals, ghostly whispers, and wicked tales from centuries past.

What to expect? 

Each 25 minute tour takes you behind the doors of five uniquely themed rooms.

With tales that will leave the hairs on the back of your neck standing, you may just leave with a feeling of unease. 

Tour Times and Booking Details 

Date: Saturday 28th June 2025

Tour Duration: 25 minutes

Times: 3pm, 3:30pm, 4pm, 4:30pm

Price: £6 pp (ages 8+)  |  Children under 8 go free

Spaces are limited to just 12 guests per tour – and if the 2024 Witches Coven is anything to go by, these will sell fast!

*The hotel does have stairs and unfortunately due to the age and size of the property there is no accessible access to the 1st and 2nd floor.*

Gather at Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel on Patrick Pool from 18:00 

There will be blessings, entertainment, surprises and prizes for the best dressed. This is a magical event for everyone. 

After the Witches Coven blessings and celebrations have concluded, Mad Alice will be taking guests on a free walking tour visiting some of York’s most haunting locations – no booking required. But fair warning: we’re expecting a crowd.
